Important note for students who have current bus passes issued September 2016:
Please see below a message Norfolk County Council Passenger Transport
Students currently travelling to school by bus will not receive a new pass during the Summer Holidays. Their current pass will be valid until the end of their schooling (for pupils aged 5-16) with their current school.
However, in some circumstances, where a school’s transport has been reviewed, students may be transferred onto a different route with a new bus number. Any students that this affects, will receive a new bus pass during the summer holidays for their new route, please keep hold of your current pass until you receive your new one. You must keep your pass, please do not destroy or lose the pass, as you will be required to pay £10 charge for a replacement if you do so.
For any changes to school transport boarding points or pick up times please check the NCC website during the summer holiday.
Post 16 (College and 6th form) need to apply for bus passes each year, please visit our website www.norfolk.gov.uk
To join us in September 2017
Click here to find out how to apply for one of the 150 places at the Academy available in September 2017. Applications must be made through Norfolk County Council's admissions process.
Before new students join the Academy we speak to their junior school teachers to find out about them and their progress. We then hold a Transition Evening, where families can meet their child's tutor and other staff. Year 6-7 students then join the Academy for the last two weeks of the Summer Term.
Click here to find out how to apply for place at the Academy during the school year. We have up to 150 places available in each Year. Applications must be made through Norfolk County Council's moving schools process.
To make joining us as easy as possible, we offer a welcoming programme of support for new students and parents. After we receive your application we will contact you to check details and arrange for you to visit. When you arrive you will be met by a member of the leadership team. You will be taken on a tour by your child's College Support Leader. Arrangements will then be made for testing and uniform orders to be processed. To minimise lost learning time, we endeavour to start students as soon as is practically possible.
Students from service families and their parents will also be introduced to our RAF Liaison Officer, Penny Francis. Her role is to monitor the wellbeing of students from service families and to offer additional support if needed. Click here for information about how we spend the Service Pupil Premium.
