Our budding entrepreneurs met local businesswoman, Jane Clark, owner of The Old Art Room in Swaffham when she kindly agreed to visit the academy.
Along with an engaging presentation Jane answered questions from our students studying business and shared the fact that ‘being passionate about what you are doing’ is a major part of success.

Making a splash at the recent European Forces Swimming League Divisional Competition, held in Wuppertal Germany, was TNHA student Joshua Barber. He competed in 5 races in the 13-15 years’ category, 100 butterfly, 200IM, 100 Free, 200 Medley relay and 200 Free relay.
His team the Lakenheath Barracudas placed 2nd out of 7 international competing teams (just missing victory). What a great effort!
Christmas may seem like a distant memory but that didn't stop students enjoying the traditional panto 'Aladdin' at the Norwich Theatre Royal.
Sweets, drinks and ice creams in hand the group settled down to be entertained for the evening by the excellent cast (even receiving a special mention from Widow Twanky!) Big smiles and laughter from all proved that that a Panto is a hit any time of the year!
“Look after your body – both inside and out” – that was the message from students and staff during Children’s Mental Health Week. Students gave examples of simple things that made them happy, keeping in mind that physical wellbeing can also help our mental wellbeing.
Students are pictured with two of the academy staff who are Mental Health First Aiders. Further information can be obtained from:
Parents joined the Safeguarding Team, for a coffee morning, focusing on how to keep our students safe on the Internet. Two officers from @BrecklandPolice joined us to answer questions and offer guidance.
Advice and resources were shared with parents and there was lots of discussion about the issues facing our young people using the Internet and ways to help protect them.
