The Nicholas Hamond Academy Coffee Mornings
Our job at The Nicholas Hamond Academy is support our students in the best possible way. We do this by working closely with charities, external agencies and parents.
As parents of our students, we invite you to attend coffee mornings held at The Nicholas Hamond Academy which will discuss important issues that are relevant to parents of teenagers. We will be inviting experts to lead discussions and give invaluable information and tips.

Come and hear from the YMCA, a charity working to improve the wellbeing and mental health of young people. Find out how you can support your teenager and understand how the Academy supports our students. We will also discuss how we support those students experiencing difficulties.
Dyslexia and Specific Learning Difficulties - Wednesday 25th March at 11:30 - 12:30.

Come and hear from Alison from eSafe, the programme we use to keep students safe online in school. You will also have the opportunity to ask about ways you can keep your teenager safe at home.
LGBTQ+ - Thursday 7th May at 11:30 - 12:30.

The transition to Secondary School can be a worrying time for students and parents; please come along to ask any questions you may have and to learn about how we support students with SEND at TNHA.
