Restart a Heart Day saw over 100 students at TNHA trained in vital lifesaving CPR skills together with other young people up and down the country. On 16th October a team from the East Anglian Ambulance Service taught students what to do in order to save the lives of both children and adults by ‘hands-on’ resuscitation using modern manikins.
The day was immensely worthwhile particularly given the fact that should someone suffer a cardiac arrest, their chances of survival double if it happens in front of a bystander who immediately starts CPR before the arrival of emergency services.
